Project Description
This Skaggs Building will house 3 floors of high-tech biomedical lab space with adjacent student support areas and staff office space. Each floor is designed for maximum efficiency and function. Labs include modular, flexible work benches plus custom rooms for cell culture and cold room experimentation.
The ground floor consists of a large lecture hall and an Access Grant Network (AGN) learning center for long-distance learning. The lower level will house animal lab space and a fluoroscopy experimentation lab.

Project Description
This addition provides a new entry, principal office, multi-purpose activity and dining space and support space for the current kitchen. The client requested a “light filled” space which has psychologically improved student behavior. The space is accoustically tempered with acoustic ceiling panels and the space is illuminated with new skylights and direct/indirect suspended light fixtures.
